The stuff you put on stuff to make stuff better.

Food Safari Booklet

Print

This beautiful little A6 16-page booklet really captures the essence of Food Safari. The layout is unfussy yet graceful, allowing the photography (by Eighty One) to bring these fascinating courses to life. It’s printed on Cylcus Offset, giving it a pleasant rustic feel beneath the fingers. One of our personal faves.

Suffolk Arts Directory

Print

The 2011 Suffolk Rural Arts Directory looks plush because of its eye-popping cover by illustrator Simon Wild. The reality is much more frugal: a cost-effective two-colour print over 128 pages that promote great little events and groups throughout Suffolk.

UCS: Reunite

Print

Pretty little postcards inviting the first batch of UCS alumni to a reunion. We wanted the recipients to feel special, so we printed these invitations on a weighty Colorplan stock and embossed  the logo and headline type to give them a luxurious letterpress-feel. Swit-swoo.

The Old Rectory

Digital

Creating a website that did this stunning Georgian rectory justice was never going to be easy. And it wasn’t. But we got there, and we’re really, really proud of the site. More importantly, it’s gained Sally at The Old Rectory lots of new customers and compliments from existing ones.

Breckland Orchard

Print

Gorgeous, glossy flyers for trade buyers advertising Breckland Orchard’s handy new screw-cap bottles. Product is king so we used nice big pack shots backed-up with a list of perfectly good reasons to stock this wonderful posh pop from Norfolk.

Jam Gourmet Doughnuts

Brand + Digital

What’s that you say? Create an identity and marketing materials for a company called Jam Gourmet Doughnuts? How could we refuse? So with mouths watering and lips licking, we created an ultra-swish brand that generates curiosity (“What’s a Jam Gou Dou?”) but makes perfect sense once it is revealed as Jam Gourmet Doughtnuts. Could it be Britain’s Krispy Kreme?

The Plough at Bolnhurst

Digital

The Good Food Guide describes The Plough at Bolnhurst as “Head and shoulders above most restaurants in the region”, and having eaten there a few teams after our meetings we’d have to fully agree.

Their brand new website gives them complete content control of pages, photographs, events, daily menus and much more. There’s also a nice Flickr RSS integration to show website visitors a snap of the specials board.

We’ve also helped them integrate Mailchimp’s email marketing goodness into their site, and arranged a photoshoot to capture their gorgeous rustic interior that’s so welcoming to diners.

Engensa

Campaign + Print

Engensa install solar panels on your roof so you can reap all the benefits of getting your electricity from the sunshine. In fact, the return on your investment is so good, it’s been calculated (don’t hold us to this) as better than an ISA. Our cheeky print ads depicted how the money earned on solar panels might be spent.

Animus

Brand + Print

There’s a joyous simplicity in our rebrand for Animus. Their star motif has been a registered trademark of the company for many years, but it was tucked away above a serif typeface. Now it’s big, and encapsulates the classic and forever-beautiful Helvetica typeface.

We’ve also helped them add real clarity to their sales messages, which includes writing the strapline nurture your future.

Business cards are printed two-colour on Perfect Image stock with the logo finished with white foil. Letterheads fit the new house-style perfectly too.

We’ve also helped Animus with a gorgeous new 16-page sales brochure, again printed on perfect image and with a neat little die-cut pocket to hold their new business cards.

Woodwose Festival

Brand + Campaign + Digital + Print

After creating the brand identity, promotional collateral and website for the launch of the Woodwose Festival in 2010, we were retained for design and marketing activity in 2011. We kept the branding (giving it a simple colour twist), improved the website, and created another beautiful printed festival guide. Woodwose participation increased three-fold on year one.

Up To The Moon

Digital

How much do we love this site? Up To The Moon and back, naturally. A real joyful e-commerce experience with hundreds of charming toys in one digital emporium. Our clients have complete control of their store, thanks to the power and flexibility of Lemonstand – our e-commerce framework of choice.

Dingley Dell

Digital

Looking to inject some real fun and personality into Dingley Dell’s marketing, we built a porky Facebook game (The Pigsaw Juzzle, no less), a brand new website (featuring The New Pork Times and other tremendous puns), and even organised a pig hut painting day with some local illustrators.

UCS: Connected With The Community

Print

Swap shops, art exhibitions, an annual Christmas Fayre – just a few of things University Campus Suffolk brings to the Ipswich waterfront community. Our illustrated 4pp leaflet opened up to reveal a full calendar of events; perfect for sticking on your fridge or pinboard.

Bohemia

Brand

The owners of a stylish new salon arrived at Condiment with just the Bohemia name. They left with a seriously ravishing brand identity. Our hand-rendered lion motif is accompanied by a classic serif typeface and mission statement – Strut Beautiful – which has become central to Bohemia’s marketing.

Travel With Jules

Brand + Digital + Print

Jules is an incredibly knowledgeable travel consultant, but her previous brand and website inspired little confidence. We commissioned an illustrator to help us create a buoyant new identity, built a search-engine-friendly website that’s seen big enquiries roll in, and produced some beautiful promotional postcards.

The Grower

Digital

Belinda had a pretty site, but was unable to edit the content. We stepped in to convert the static HTML into a fully content-managed site on the WordPress platform. Belinda can now add courses, blog posts and create newsletters whenever she desires.

Suffolk Dog Day

Campaign + Digital + Print

We donated our services to help raise loads of money for The Suffolk Foundation. This included a refined identity, a new website (which enabled supporters to buy tickets online – and they did, spending over £4,000), a custom Facebook page, and design of the programme for the day.

Eligible Ruth

Campaign + Digital + Print

Eligible Ruth loves eligible roofs. That was the idea behind our proposed hyper-local campaign for Engensa. The idea was wonderfully odd, but reasonably simple: Eligible Ruth, our loveable cat (illustrated by the brilliant Spencer Wilson), liked to spend time on warm south-facing roofs. If you found Ruth on your roof – you’d be searching online after seeing our ‘lost cat’ posters – you’d be eligible for free solar panels. Sadly, Eligible Ruth was poo-pooed by the focus groups. They said it looked like something to do with children’s cheese. The fools.
